                          About this site...

The voice of José Carreras was the first voice that I fell in love with. It was through him that I discovered the beauty of the tenor voice and rediscovered my love of opera. Since then, there have been three other (younger) tenors whose voices and performances, both in the opera house and in the concert hall, have brought me particular pleasure -  Giuseppe Sabbatini, Juan Diego Flórez, and Roberto Alagna.

In the José Carreras section of this site you will find a small gallery of my favourite photographs of this great tenor, a performance schedule, media archives, and illustrated re-prints of the articles that I have written for www.JCarreras.com, a comprehensive resource both for admirers of José Carreras and for those who simply want to learn more about him.

The sections on the other three tenors are meant to be compact sources of information about them - each has a Biography, Schedule, Discography, Photo Gallery, Links Page, Contacts Page, Quotes Pages and a selection of media articles and reviews.

This site also has several sections of general interest to opera and music lovers, including a Listening Room and a Reading Room.  See the Site Map for details.
